Verbal intelligence test is not an educational test but is an intelligence test. This test is designed to evaluate and check the mental and cognitive abilities of candidates. This test helps to check the sharpness of mind, logical thinking, analytical thinking, reasoning power( how you understand the reason), understanding the language and verbal communication Etc.

Verbal Intelligence test Topics/Question Types

The verbal intelligence test comprises different types of questions. Some of major Question Types are given below.

Analogies 

To recognize Relationship between words, numbers alphabets etc such as: The doctor is in the hospital. Fish is to swim. Eye is to see. Vehicle is to the wheels as Sound is to: (Ans: waves). Arrange the word and tell i which category it lies OPERALD ? (LEPOARD which is wild animal)

Series

One different from rest of the group or pattern, such as: Gold, silver, iron, cotton( cotton is not a metal). Apple, banana, mango, potato( potato is not a fruit)

It contains generally English vocabulary tests. For example: – Obedient ( dutyfull). Futile (useleWhat Direction arrangements

Analytical thinking through finding and results for relative arrangements. For example: – Ali is taller than Bilal. Bilal is taller than Ahmed. Who is tallest? (Ali). If Akram is moving towards north, he turns left and then left again and then move straight, now he is heading towards? ( South).
